Building on the success of the Focus3D, the new Focus3D X 330 surpasses previous models in functionality and performance. With a range almost three times greater than previous models, the Focus3D X 330 can scan objects up to 330 meters away and in direct sunlight. With its integrated GPS receiver, the laser scanner is able to correlate individual scans in post-processing making it ideal for surveying based applications. PMC can help you with FARO laser scanning hardware, related software  and services.

Different types of manufacturing and assembly plants move lines and systems – retrofit - all the time to accommodate new production processes. When performing retrofits to a facility, the larger the project, the greater the cost and the greater the need for accurate planning and clearly communicating changes. Eliminating risks and reducing time can be critical in a variety of ways. During this webinar, learn from real-life examples of successful plant retrofits.

PMC is proud to share our successes.  Our recent work with Dearborn Mid-West Company is now featured in an Autodesk produced video.   This video highlights PMC’s role in DMW’s “transition from a 2D to a 3D world,” utilizing laser scanning techniques and Autodesk Factory Design Suite.

As described by DMW, PMC was instrumental in the project, providing service and guidance to allow for a “painless” and “seamless” transition.  Now that the transition has been made, DMW is able to reap benefits such as:  reduced labor hours, higher accuracy, less rework and scrap, in addition to many others.

Laser scanning is but one of the tools in PMC’s toolbox.  Our group of CAD, manufacturing, and software experts is waiting to create the perfect solution for your needs.

PMC has recently purchased the latest model of a  FARO Focus3D Scanner. This scanner is a high-speed Terrestrial Laser Scanner (TLS) offering the most efficient method for 3D measurement and 3D image documentation. Using Factory Design Suite along with Autodesk’s new Reality Capture solution, the customer now has access to an efficient workflow from capture to usage of its 3D facility data.

Also, PMC has become a distributor of FARO scanning equipment. As of April 2013 we offer our customers both scanning services and the ability to outfit them with the latest in scanning hardware and software.
