Ergonomics Management

PMC’s Ergonomics Management System Program consists of turn-key ergonomics services and personal-certification. Turn-key ergonomics concept utilizes ergonomic simulation tools (Jack and Process Simulate Human software) that allow organizations to analyze the effect of a work-cell, a task, or a product on persons using Jack Simulate Software. In summary, PMC’s ergonomics services include job hazard analysis, risk assessment, and ergonomics program establishment, development, & sustainability. In addition to consultation via PMC Way, PMC offers 2-day Ergonomics Program training.

PMC is a member of International Ergonomics Association & HFES of USA. PMC’s Ergonomics Program is based on ISO/TC 159 Ergonomics guidelines. Ergonomics Analysis Tools used are:

What are PMC’s Ergonomics Program Elements?
Ergonomics Analysis Tools used are:

  • 1.0 PURPOSE: The purpose of this program is to describe the individual elements of ergonomics program, how each element is implemented and sustained to achieve the ergonomic program’s goals and objectives.

  • 2.0 ERGONOMICS PROGRAM: The intent of this ergonomics program is to apply a well-defined systematic process.

  • 3.0 PROGRAM ELEMENTS:

    • 3.1 Establish: Support Infrastructure, Ergonomics Committee, Proactive Risk Management System, & Adequate Resources.

    • 3.2 Analyze: Identify Trends & Conduct Ergonomic Evaluation.

    • 3.3 Prioritize: Address Recordable Incidents and Reports of Discomfort/Concern.

    • 3.4 Implement: Identify Effective Controls & Select Effective Controls, Complete Top 5 Action Plan, & Implement Controls.

    • 3.5 Follow-Up

    • 3.6 Measure and Communicate: Short-Term and Long-Term Metrics & Communication
